About

Born and raised in Floyd County, Georgia, I attended Coosa High School, graduating with honors in 1975.   In 1974, I became a staff member of the Floyd County School System and retired from there as a Technology Specialist in 2006, returning a few months later to work part-time until June 2008.

During the 34+ years of my career with the Floyd County Schools I held various positions in which I gained valuable knowledge and skills making me the top-notch administrative professional I am today.

I have experience in general office administration, document authoring and processing, database development, spreadsheet solutions, technical support and instruction, governmental accounting and mainframe administration. I have received various certifications and recognitions throughout my career.

In addition, I returned to college in 2002, receiving my certification in Medical Transcription from Coosa Valley Technical College (now Georgia Northwestern Technical College). Since that time, I have worked for various companies transcribing confidential general, medical and legal audios.

Web savvy, ambitious, professional and skilled – my drive for perfection offers clients a certain edge over their competitors. I am adamant about deadlines, confidentiality, reliability and professionalism.

I’m very pleased to be able to offer my services to individuals and businesses here in Rome as well as to the outside world.
